Biocomputing Unit

The Biocomputing Unit is focused on developing mathematical and computational models of gene-gene interactions to advance target identification and drug development, and in assisting in validation for in vitro models of disease, so in vivo models can be initiated. Specifically, the unit is developing a computational framework to integrate high-throughput genomic data such as gene expression and aCGH, high-throughput screening data such as siRNA, clinical parameters, and biological knowledge, for identifying cellular contexts and learning context-specific gene regulatory networks.
