John Carpten Ph.D.
Division Director

TGen's Integrated Cancer Genomics Division brings together bioinformatics, cutting-edge technologies and basic research to create a comprehensive attack on cancer with the ultimate goal of developing new diagnostics and treatments. Specific areas of focus include prostate cancer, melanoma, familial breast cancer, colon cancer, multiple myeloma and renal tumor research. Keeping in line with TGen's mission of developing earlier diagnostics and smarter treatments, we hope this integrated approach to cancer genome research will help to uncover important inherited and tumor derived alterations, which are associated with cancer susceptibility and important tumor characteristics such as progression and response to therapy.
