SNP Genotyping Service Center
Analyzing bits of DNA called single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) gives researchers the power to identify disease-causing genes, associations, and DNA signatures, all of which have profound implications for detection, prognosis and therapeutic intervention. The SNP Genotyping Center offers innovative solutions that address the requirements for flexibility, simplicity, throughput, economy, and accuracy.
Current Projects:
1. Genome-wide scan of 1000 DNA samples utilizing Affymetrix's GeneChip 500K Mapping Arrays
2. SNP characterization and molecular fingerprinting of viral DNA samples
Recently Completed Projects:
1. Genome-wide scan of >1700 DNA samples (Affymetrix's GeneChip 100K Mapping Array
2. Candidate gene, SNP and microsatellite analyses of >1200 DNA samples
